Panalpina proactively engages with customers and suppliers, to better understand what issues are most important to them with regards to sustainability management. Topics vary by company and sector, but most focus on the energy and corresponding greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the transport of goods, environmental compliance, labor relations and practices, and responsible sourcing.

Panalpina’s Global Sustainable Action Day is one example of how we use our resources and expertise to help improve the environmental conditions in the communities near our facilities. Panalpina also donates charter flights to carry humanitarian equipment and supplies provided by UNICEF to locations in dire need of support, through our charitable relief flights initiative.
