CEO Monika Ribar expressed her satisfaction that she has been able to appoint an experienced HR specialist like Alastair Robertson for the Panalpina Group. “The logistics industry is undeniably a people’s business, therefore the qualifications and achievements of all employees are of utmost importance for the success of the organization. This is especially true with Panalpina’s asset-light business model where the organization of entire supply chains and service quality rather than physical cargo handling takes priority.” The CEO recognizes that HR will be a core factor for the future development of the Group. Furthermore, Panalpina is a global organization, active across many cultures and therefore a candidate with vast international experience was pursued for this position.
