Building on an existing strong and successful partnership with KCA DEUTAG, Panalpina has been formally awarded additional business in the key regions Angola, Gabon, Libya, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan over the period of the forthcoming 3 years.
The decision – representing the retention of both key current business and the award of new business activity – strongly increases Panalpina’s overall commercial relationship with KCA DEUTAG.
More specifically KCA DEUTAG is looking to develop the existing relationship with Panalpina based on measurable performance.
«Expectations from KCA DEUTAG’s side are to work with a professional partner and base the renewed partnership on credibility, capability, and competence. This vision combined with a very strong focus on efficiency will be a major improvement and achievable target for a professional freight forwarder like Panalpina to deliver door-to-door service for KCA DEUTAG globally», says Frank Goerke, Leader of Materials and Transport at KCA DEUTAG.
KCA DEUTAG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Abbot Group Ltd, is one of the largest international land drilling contractors outside the Americas, and one of the largest platform drilling contractors in the North Sea. The company also operates a fleet of mobile offshore drilling units. KCA DEUTAG employs over 8,000 people and operates in over 20 countries worldwide.
