On Friday, March 25 (13.00 - 14.00 Hong Kong time), Panalpina turned off all non-essential lights, air conditioners and office appliances at 20 offices in Greater China. The Earth Hour program was not only limited to our workplace, but also extended to our homes.
Panalpina Greater China called upon its colleagues to participate in this meaningful event with their families. On March 26 (20.30 – 21.30 Hong Kong time), everyone was encouraged to switch off the lights and unnecessary electrical appliances at home.
To go beyond Earth Hour, Panalpina manages a PanGreen program in an effort to contribute to the global reduction of CO2 emissions. The program involves the measurement and monitoring of environmental key performance indicators and resource consumption. Detailed information about PanGreen is available on Panalpina’s website.
