| Panalpina receives Planet Award of Partner Excellence from Lufthansa Cargo | 05/25/2007

| The German airfreight company rewards its best and most trustworthy partners with the Planet Award of Partner Excellence. This year, the prize went to its longstanding partner Panalpina. CEO Monika Ribar was presented with the award at the Global Partner Council event in Vevey (Switzerland).
“Lufthansa Cargo and Panalpina have enjoyed many years of exceptional and highly professional cooperation. That is why I am particularly pleased to present the Award of Partner Excellence 2006 to Panalpina”, said Dr. Andreas Otto, Lufthansa Cargo Board Member for Marketing and Sales. The selection criteria for this award, aside from joint sales success, were based on professionalism, loyalty and the achievement of shared business goals.
“As part of our asset-light business model, professional partner management is one of our core functions”, added Panalpina CEO Monika Ribar. She further stated: “We take the word partner very seriously and we lay emphasis on mutual trust and added value. Lufthansa Cargo is one of our best and longest standing business partners”.
