We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

(1) For the fulfilment of contractual obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR)

The processing of data is carried out to provide services within the framework of the execution of our contracts with our customers or to carry out pre-contractual measures, which take place on request. Further details regarding data processing purposes can be found in the relevant contractual documents and terms and conditions.

(2) Based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR)

 If you have given us your consent to process personal data for certain purposes (e.g. passing on data within the Group) the legality of this processing is given on the basis of your consent. Your consent can be revoked at any time.

(3) Based on legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR)

If necessary, we process your data beyond the actual fulfillment of the contract to protect the legitimate interests of us or third parties, in particular, review and optimization of procedures.

Within Panalpina, those departments and Panalpina affiliates worldwide that need your data to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations will have access to it. Service providers may also receive data for these purposes.

With regard to the transfer of data to recipients outside our company, we may only pass on information about you if this is necessary for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contractor you have consented.

We do not collect any personal data if you use this website for purely informational purposes, i.e. if you do not log in, register or otherwise transmit information to us to use the website – with the exception of the data that your browser transmits to enable you to visit the website.

On this website data is collected and stored using the web analysis service software Matomo (, a service of the provider InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, ("Matomo") on the basis of our justified interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

From this data, pseudonymised user profiles can be created and evaluated for the same purpose. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the Internet browser of the page visitor. The cookies enable, among other things, the recognition of the Internet browser. The data collected using Matomo technology (including your pseudonymised IP address) is processed on our servers. .

The information generated by the cookie in the pseudonymous user profile is not used to personally identify the visitor to this website and is not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

If you do not agree with the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit, you can object to its subsequent storage and use at any time by mouse click. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which means that Matomo does not collect any session data.
